Great Basin Pulse does not sell personal information. There is no account system, no donation checkout on this site, and no advertising network.
Cloudflare Web Analytics may run in the background. It is cookieless and does not identify you as a person. Cloudflare, as the host, also sees ordinary request logs (IP address, user agent) the way any website host does.
Live numbers come from public agencies and datasets (USGS, NRCS, NWS, EPA AirNow, eBird). Those services have their own terms. Bird lists credit eBird.org and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
This site is educational. It is not an official emergency-alert system and is not for regulatory or safety decisions. For flood, fire, or air-quality action, use NWS Reno, AirNow, and your county emergency services.
